b l a d e b a b e s - live Band
in the 2020s we seem to relive science fiction literature from the 80s and 90s.
the bladebabes are a band that tries to break through the borders between electronic dance music and rock-show. a live band with drummer, vocalist and guitar in a complex cybernetic feedback system. the guitar sound gets crushed by a theremin antenna while the amen break cuts throgh the supersaws. sometimes they are supported by b100t, their unplugged robot assistant, that spits out MIDI basslines to the analog synths. the bladebabes create dynamic interactive MIDIcore-cyber-synth-pop-punk-rock-folk-break-post-Y2K-techno electronic sounds, that tends to make the people dance. at the interction of live concert and adrenalized techno-club the bladebabes create the musical soundtracks that bring the people together in this cyberpunk future
